What we collect through this website

Nothing, by default. This site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising trackers, no session recording, no heatmaps, and no marketing pixels. We do not set cookies beyond what is technically required to serve the pages, and we do not fingerprint visitors.

The contact form

Our contact form checks your input inside your own browser and then opens your email application with the message pre-addressed to us. The contents are not transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers. If you send the email, it becomes ordinary correspondence — see the next section.

Email, phone, and messages

If you contact us by email, phone, or a linked messaging service, we receive the information you choose to share (your address or number, your name, and the contents of the message). We use it only to answer you and to carry out the work you ask us to do. The legal basis is responding to your request and, where it follows, performing a contract. We do not sell, rent, or share your correspondence with marketers.

Third parties that see technical data

Two service providers necessarily process basic technical data when you visit:

Hosting. Our web hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operation of the service.

Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google’s font service. Your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser information to deliver the font files. Google’s own privacy policy governs that processing.

We do not use any other analytics, advertising, or embedded third-party content.

Our applications

Applications developed by DRIFTMOTH LLC for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other platforms follow the same data-minimization principle as this website. Each application’s own privacy details are provided with its App Store listing and inside the app.

Retention and deletion

Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, then deleted. Because the website itself stores no visitor data, there is typically nothing of yours on our servers to delete — but you may ask at any time and we will confirm or delete.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to any processing at any time, by emailing hello@driftmoth.com. We answer privacy requests within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page.
